ABOUT THE TOUR

The Never Quit Never Tour unites youth, families and the community and provides education on prevention of heart disease, stroke and brain bleeds. Karina Petroni along with local medical specialists will speak to youth via local High Schools and churches. At these events, the Never Quit video, (www.NeverQuitNever.com) will be shown to give an overview of Karina’s amazing upbringing and career and the devastation that was brought upon the Petroni family when Gerard Petroni suffered a stroke and brain bleed.

Karina Petroni will share her personal story of surfing success and how the events of her father changed her life forever. In addition, Karina will speak to the importance of the following:

1. Making healthy life choices
2. Setting goals and fulfilling your dream
3. Protecting the environment
4. Building character during challenging times
5. Loving and taking care of your parents

Local medical specialists will show medical videos and charts and describe heart disease, stroke and brain bleeds in detail. In addition, they will encourage youth to do the following:

1. Make healthy life choices that can lead to disease prevention
2. Engage in family activities, lead active lifestyles
3. Have their parents receive regular health check ups (blood pressure and cholesterol screenings)
4. Be aware of any genetic conditions that may cause serious health conditions in the future.

Gerard Petroni will walk on the stage and recite the poem “If” by Rudyard Kipling. This will have an emotional impact on both students and adults alike and demonstrate how far he has come with his Determination, Love and Never Quit attitude.
