- 500 meter ocean swimmer
- 1.5K surfboard paddler. Use a Longboard for a better time.
(No Paddle Boards, Stand Up Paddle Boards, Windsurf Boards, Tandem Boards or Life Guard Paddle Boards allowed. Only Surf Boards, Long or Short. Long boards will give you a better time as they paddle faster and easier)
You can do just the 5k Run/Walk, or ask 2 friends to join you to make a Tri Relay Team. (You can also do 2 of the 3 legs)
While registering online, you will be able to choose the leg(s) you would like to compete in, you can also pick your team name. You can find a teammate (and maybe a new friend) by going to the message board link, follow the steps and meet someone in no time. Also think of friends or friends of friends that may be a Runner, Swimmer or Surfer that you could recruit to do one of the legs with you.

For Surfboard/Longboard Rentals for the Tri Challenge, you will need to prepay the $20 per day with one of the following to reserve your board.
1. Sunrise Surf shop. 904-241-0822 http://www.sunrisesurfshop.com (Pick up surfboard no later than 6pm Friday June 8)
2. Aqua East Surf Shop. 904-246-2550 http://www.aquaeast.com (Pick up surfboard no later than 7pm Friday June 8)
3. Rent Beach Stuff. 904-305-6472 http://www.rentbeachstuff.com (You can pick up your surfboard the morning of June 10 between 6am to 7:15am)
4. Call around to other surf shops that may have surfboard rentals.
5. See if you know anyone that may know anyone that will let you borrow or rent a surfboard from them.
